Making your Payment
We except Debit and Credit cards but don't except American Express, sorry.

All year round Christmas Club

Choose a bike and accessories from our range and reserve them with a deposit of £10.00 until you are ready to collect them. You can make payments as you go or wait until you collect. If your goods are for Xmas we like them to be collected or delivered by December 15th to make sure you are happy with them in good time for Xmas. If not for Xmas just let us know when you need the goods and we will have them ready for you in time.

Shipping and Handling
We will endeavour to process your order the day it is received, however sometimes due to security checks and administration, orders may roll over to the next day for despatch. If this is the case, we will endeavour to contact you by telephone or email using the information you gave us when placing your order. Your goods will be dispatched within 5-7 working days of us receiving your order. If you do wish to cancel before shipping of the goods please contact our sales team on 0191 265 1472 where we will refund your account. When goods are delivered by our courier they must be signed for. If the box or goods are damaged in any way then they MUST be signed for as such so we may resolve the situation with our courier. If damaged goods are signed for as undamaged then you may have to pay any aditional carriage charges yourself. The above charges relate only to delivery within Mainland UK. Our online shopping system will show a charge for delivery whenever you add items to your basket. In most circumstances the charge calculated is accurate, however owning the varied and diverse nature of the products we sell, it is not always possible for the system to quote you an accurate cost. Where actual carriage costs are LOWER than that quoted, will will simply proceed with your order and charge you the actual (lower) amount. If actual costs are higher, we will first contact you to advise of the situation and you will then have the option to proceed or cancel without any obligation.
Your Security and Credit Card Security
For orders placed via our secure server, the details are stored and transferred via a secure connection (128bit) and at no point are your payment details stored or tranferred in any insecure way. PAYMENT IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY TAKEN FROM YOUR CARD when you place your order via the secure server. We only charge your card once goods are ready for despatch except in a small number of circumstances, eg where you have asked us to order something specially on your behalf. For standard (non secure) orders; Once we receive your order we will contact you to confirm any payment details by telephone. As a result, it is extremely important that you supply us with a daytime contact telephone number, or we will be unable to process your order efficiently. We will also be able to verbally confirm availability of your chosen goods at this time. To help prevent fraud, when finalising your order you will be asked to give us permission to perform an e-identitycheck search on your details which is explained by the following wording: "We will now attempt to verify your identity (or the identity of the individual on whose behalf you are acting). This process involves checking the details you supply against those held on a number of specific databases Experian - the credit reference agency - has access to, for example information from the Electoral Register and fraud prevention agencies. Scoring methods will be used in the verification process as this gives a more thorough check of the available data. A record of this process will be kept that may be used to help other companies to verify your identity. We may also pass information to organisations involved in fraud prevention to protect ourselves and our customers from theft and fraud. If you supply false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this and share this information with other organisations. Is this OK?" We can only process a transaction if permission is given to perform the e-identitycheck search on your details.

Back Orders
In the unlikely event that we don't have the goods you request in stock, we will inform you at the point we contact you. At this point you will be given the option to allow us to place those goods on back-order for a preset amount of time. A variable deposit will be requested at this time. Should we fail to source your requested goods within the allocated period we will again contact you with the option to cancel. Any deposits paid by you will be refunded. If you choose to cancel your back-order before our agreed time, we reserve the right to withhold part or all of your deposit or to issue that deposit back to you in the form of a Credit Note against future purchases.

Bike Guarantee and Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your goods simply return them to us within 7 days of purchase for an exchange or refund. Make sure they are unused and in their original condition and packaging along with your receipt as proof of purchase. We can't offer this no quibble policy without your receipt or if your goods have been used. Where the specification of the bike has been changed by a manufacturer we may not be able to refund the cost of the changes. Sorry, we can't refund delivery charges. All products are guaranteed against failure due to defective workmanship or materials for one year from the date of purchase. Items such as (but not limited to) broken brake cables, broken gear cables, flat tyres, punctured inner tubes, skidded tyres, buckled wheels, accidental damage and snapped chains are not manufacturing defects. Bikes are not suitable for stunt riding. Damage caused by inappropriate use, neglect, general abuse, impact or accidental damage will invalidate the guarantee. Should you wish to make a claim against the guarantee please come to the shop (if you purchased online please call us 0191 2651472) with your original receipt. We will evaluate the fault, repair, replace or refund at our discretion. To comply with health and safety regulations, when returning goods for evaluation please ensure that they are clean and dry otherwise our staff may refuse to attend to your return. It is the responsibility of the rider (or their guardian) to check that he bike is safe to ride before use. If the bike is not maintained then it may not be safe to ride. A bike can last a lifetime if it is cared for properly. Please ask for advice on how to care for your bike. In order to validate your warranty please return your bike for a free service any time within three months from the date of purchase. Happy cycling!

Some self assembly required
On receipt of your bike some assembly will be required, which may include attaching pedals, front wheel, seat pin, handle bar and stem. Single speed kid's bikes and BMX bikes will be shipped as they are received from the manufacturer. Customer assembly will be required.
Purchases by mail order/online
When your goods are delivered and you sign for them CHECKTHEM FIRST. Once you sign the delivery note, you accept the goods are in good condition. It's your responsibility to check the goods before signing. If they are damaged inside the box and you've signed for them in good condition then you can't send them back. If you are unable to check them for whatever reason write 'goods not checked and may be damaged' on the delivery note. We can't help you if you sign for the goods in good condition if it turns out they are damaged in transit. If in doubt don't sign! You have 3 days to tell us about defective/damaged goods after which we assume you're happy with them.
We don't offer a collection service of any type. If you would like to return your goods or make a warranty claim you need to send them back to us yourself. We can't collect. If the goods are faulty we will agree a cost for you to return the goods BEFORE you send them and refund the cost to you. Please contact us before you send anything back 0191 2651472. We will give you a returns reference and contact you when we receive the goods.
Distance Selling Regulations conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. This does not affect your Statutory Rights. Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery.
